What it is
Conviviale is a wine bar from founder Cat Barry in the former Vins space beside Canonbury Overground station. After a daytime pop-up on 20 September, it soft-launched on 9 October and opened fully on 14 October, with a bar counter kept for walk-ins. The food has a Québécois accent: alongside cheese and charcuterie boards, the menu has poutine with house-cut chips, homemade gravy and cheese, a pork chop with mustard, maple syrup, fennel and cabbage, and Thai-style steamed mussels . It opens Wednesday to Saturday evenings, with tables for up to four bookable on SevenRooms.
